Howdy!  Have been living and practicing optometry in a small, rural town in the NE part of CA the last 20+ years.  Have two children.  My son graduated from CSU Chico in 2007 with a degree in computer engineering and is working for a government research lab in S Cal.  My daughter graduated from CSU Chico in 2010 in biochemistry/mathematics and is heading to Vancouver this Fall to work on her PhD in genetics at UBC.  Followed in the footsteps of my coach, Wayne Hooper, and have been coaching cross country for over ten years at the local high school.  Enjoy running with the kids.  If you are ever up this way, please stop by as we are right on the highway.

Spent 12 years in the Army, got out in '86 and moved back to Sunnyvale, working in the defense industry. Transferred to Colorado Springs in 1990, got laid off five years later, and went to work for the state's prison system. I'm currently in charge of one of the shifts at a facility for youthful offenders who were adjudicated as adults, generally for violent felonies, which they committed before the age of 18. Meredy (some of you will remember her, also Class of '74) and I have been married 31 years now, and have recently joined the ranks of the empty nesters. Living in in a quasi-rural community in the shadow of Pikes Peak, and life has never been better!
