My oldest graduated from high school this year and that's what got me thinking about it...high school seems like a lifetime or two ago. Who knew the paths and turns our lives would take, I sure thought I knew it all back then. After high school, I graduated from UCSB in 1982, got married, had kids, worked in San Francisco for almost 15 years, got divorced, moved north (outside of Sacramento), went to graduate school at UC Davis, got married again and am still raising kids (and still trying to work). I am thankful for all that I have in my life, but god knows it's been harder than I thought it would be. Who knew that having teenagers in the house would be so very expensive? |

We keep busy with both a winery and a business center, volunteering with local organizations, enjoying the outdoors and artistic pursuits and traveling - when we can squeeze that in! We live on beautiful Whidbey Island in the Puget Sound. Life couldn't get much better. |
