I can break my life into almost 3 separate lives:

 

Young Foolish Steve:

 

Went onto College/Working full time after High school but then got married way, way too young. This marriage ended up in divorce, but I did have a beautiful girl who's now 25 and lives in the bay area in California.

 

Workaholic Single Steve:

 

Got divorced in my early 30s mainly because I was a workaholic and traveled too much with my sales job. Thanks to my Mom's Japanese genes I look much younger than I am and really enjoyed being single for a good 10 years as I looked much younger than I was. While I enjoyed these years very much, I cannot say they were free of foolishness.

 

The 'grown up' Steve

 

So then I meet the woman of my dreams, and against all odds, this sworn second life bachelor gets married and even has 2 more children, after having solemnly sworn never to re-marry, and never have any more children.

 

A couple years after we married, and had our second child, we moved to Georgia in 2000 for job opportunity within my company. My boy Jake is now 9 and daughter Jade is 7. We just got back from Antigua W.I. after renewing our vows for our 10th year anniversary.

 

These 3 periods in my life seem like different people as I look at how my life is now. Very steady, easy going, the only thing the same is that I still probably work too much. Work hard play hard, I guess. Probably travel too much too. I go all over the Southeast, including Caribbean Islands. I would like to be home more with the family.

 

I've been in Technology Sales now for the last 20 years and really like this industry. So after a rough start, I couldn’t be happier with my life.

I moved to San Diego in 1973 and attended UCSD and UCLA grad school. I returned to Northern California almost 10 years later to work for HP. I met my husband while windsurfing and we have now been married almost 22 years and have 2 daughters, Courtney (14) and Kelley (12). I worked for HP for many years in marketing and general management but I have been at Symantec since 2003. We're still windsurfing and for the last 20 years have spent lots of time on the island of Aruba in the Carribean doing our thing at our home away from home.

Hello to my old friends from high school days! I am still living in the Seattle area, where I relocated to in 1978. I am enjoying the transition to parenting young adults-both kids are in college in Washington state (ages 19 & 22). I still love Art & films-do volunteer work in both. My mom lives nearby & she is still as fun as ever. Love to travel also-have been to Belgium and Japan and returned to Sweden as well. Hope to see as many of you as possible at the reunion next summer!
